I had actually completely forgotten about Ubi's games! I didn't actually see the presentation - still haven't - so it kinda just went in me ear and out the other.Kingdom Battle does look good! I love me some tactical RPG, and it looks like it'll be pretty fun, despite the Rabbids.
I DESPERATELY want to know what BGE2 has to do with the original besides the name Montpelier and pig people. Also why the constant swearing. It didn't enhance anything, it was just THERE. Really, really jarring since the original was T, and even that was just for mature themes and not constant swearing.
My compy died before I could get and play Far Cry 4, but I finished Far Cry 3 and it's ending was some grade-A bullshit. I don't trust FC5 to be anything but more bullshit.
I care exactly zero about WW2 Call of Duty, so that's a wash.
I actually DID play Crimson Skies! I bought an old Xbox and slapped some games onto it via shenanigans. Panzer Dragoon Orta, Crimson Skies, and Metal Wolf Chaos are the three I actively remember. I take it from things Ive heard that the One X is compatible with original Xbox games? I didn't watch the Microsoft or most of Sony's either. I don't have a PS3, 4, VR, Vita, or ecksbawxone, so most of that was just white noise for me. And saddening that Spiderman Arkham York City is an *actual* exclusive. .....at least until Valve starts making noises about steam sales and their massive market and can make it worth their while a year or two down the line.
I really, really hope Moss gets a PC version sooner rather than later though. Especially one that doesn't require VR. Dear god it looks adorable.
(Starchild meanwhile looks like a more colorful Inside, right down to the character animations. What is the point of *that* game?)
I actually give a negative amount of craps about Assassins Creed.
The only racing game I want is another, proper, Burnout. Burnout 3: Takedown hit that precise sweet spot for me between arcadey racer and depth of gameplay that I want in a racing game. Which is to say 'laughably shallow, but deeper than Mario Kart'.
(Edit to add: not that I don't love me some Mario Kart, but it's not something you (well, I) can play for hours at a stretch the way I could Burnout. Also, amazing-assmusic in Burnout, and getting a modern one that's easier to add my own music to to override the stuff I don't want to hear would be amazing. Burnout Paradise wasn't BAD, but it's been so many years, and it wasn't as 'instant gratification' as Takedown was.)
