Therefore all of Gryphon (and Kei's) descendants are Detians as well, which therefore includes Annabelle. Utena and Anthy (and Miki, Juri, Saionji, Wakaba, etc.) are not Detians as of this writing. It is possible to be awarded the Order of the Eternal Knight by the Wedge Defense Force, which grants the right to have Omega-2 applied should you desire it (this is how Victoria Shepard became a Detian - her parents were WDF lifers, but not Detians themselves), but it requires meritorious service WAY beyond the call of duty.
As a side note, Kaname Sterling is Half-Invid, Quarter-Zentraedi, and Quarter-Detian, but it is expected that she will receive the full Detian benefits upon maturity (as did her mother and aunts, all of them being Half-Zentraedi, Half-Detian).
I do not believe having a Lens, in and of itself, qualifies you for receiving Omega-2.
