"NXE Second Impact Release"
|
I just finished re-reading NXE, and realized that the "official" release date of NXE 3:9 was 4/1/2000, which was also the date of the Second Impact in the series. Was this doine intentionally, or is it a random coincidence? And if it was intentional, was it planned from the get go, or did it fall into place as the completion of the series neared. Just a piece of random curiosity flitting around in my brain at this late(early) hour... Offsides I have looked into the abyss, and the abyss looked also back into me. Neither of us liked what we saw. EPU RCW #π #include <stdsig.h> |

>I don't remember. I do. Yeah, we were working on it and the date was coming up, so we made a special effort to make sure it was done in advance to be released on that day. I remember the most pointless stuff. |

>I remember the most pointless stuff. I know the feeling - I'm a fountain of useless information. I guess I was born to it - one of the Anagrams that I got from my full name (courtesy of the Anagram Genius Server) was "He's a lame jargon museum." Bonus points to anyone who can reverse engineer my last name :) Offsides I have looked into the abyss, and the abyss looked also back into me. Neither of us liked what we saw.
