Otto is a popular adversary for WW2 stories, especially in alternate history where German special operations are involved. In John Birmingham's time travel/alt. hist. series, he leads an attempt to assassinate Churchill, only to be thwarted by Prince Harry. In Forschten and Gingrich's novel 1945, a raid he is leading against Oak Ridge encounters trouble at the hands of an old WW1 veteran named Alvin York.
