We agreed that the best part was—well, there was a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode once where one of the skits involved Tom Servo having Crow paint him pink because he wanted to be a Real Live Boy. Crow and Joel have to crush his dreams by pointing out that he is, in fact, now simply a robot that is painted pink. Then they go to commercial, and when they come back, Servo is back to normal with no explanation beyond a cheerful, "I'm better!"
