I'm like eight years younger than you, give or take, so my first exposure to Trek involved a time period when TOS was in regular syndicated reruns in various places, but TNG was airing new episodes at the same time. So there was a two-year time period where I thought that Kirk and Picard were the same person at different times in their lives, named "Captain Kirk Picard." It made perfect sense to a nine-year-old. -Merc Keep Rat |
