   So, I haunted a now-defunct torrent site for months hoping someone would do a fansub of Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow, and then when one finally appeared I downloaded it... and forgot all about it before I had time to watch it. I just stumbled over it in my SW files dir and was all oh no way!

I've only had a chance to watch a few minutes of the first episode so far, but if you like Heidemarie Schnaufer (and really, who doesn't?), she looks to be fairly prominently featured. Also, I will give the series 10 points right out of the box for the bit in the opening credits where Mio is wrecking shit in a Zero instead of loafing around with an unarmed recon biplane like they stuck her with in the movie.
