Yes, I can see how that doesn't get old.

Brawl: We're flying this time, aren't we?
Onslaught: Yes, we are.
Brawl: You're not going to drug me this time. I'm going to keep my eye on you.
Onslaught: In that case, do you want the last swallow of your energon?
*Brawl realizes he's been had, raises his fist and then collapses*
Onslaught: Guess not.

I fully believe that that's how Bruticus came to be: the Combaticons were on a job, they got captured and their opponents locked them in a machine shop, the theme music played over a montage of fiddling and welding, and then Bruticus came crashing through the rolling metal door and trashed the joint.

Y'know, its amazing (or would be if it weren't fiction) how many idiots lock the A-Team or MacGyver in a machine shop, tool room, or other place that anyone with a little technical skill, and some creativity, would find massively advantageous.

Locking the A-Team and MacGyver in one would have been even worse.

“They planned their campaigns just as you might make a splendid piece of harness. It looks very well; and answers very well; until it gets broken; and then you are done for. Now I made my campaigns of ropes. If anything went wrong, I tied a knot; and went on.”

Swindle as Faceman is another nice match-up, although I think Face was more classy than Swindle any day of the week.

But from what I remember of the A-Team, someone was constantly out-witted by the A-Team - specifically, the guy sent to catch them. So... I have to ask a potentially inconvenient question: Which Autobot (or Autobots) are Decker, Lynch, and the other hapless guys trying to CATCH the Combaticons?
