Many people do; there has even been some semi-convincing pressure put on NAIS to do the same, though the administration has thus far resisted on the grounds that a) it's undignified b) they'd have to change the name of the institute to "the New Avalon Institute of Science!" and c) they don't really want to contemplate all the "what is science factorial?" jokes. And you can't really argue with those points, especially the third one.
