LAST EDITED ON Nov-14-16 AT 00:56 AM (EST)
All right, so... well, I won't say against all odds, but against quite a few odds, it looks like we've actually pulled something together to drop as an anniversary present tomorrow. Er, later today. Monday. I've decided not to do any direct teasers for it, I'm just going to drop it cold once it passes final checkoffs. Annotations and audio (maybe—I've been having some equipment problems, which is why there hasn't been any for the last couple of releases) to follow at a later date. We'll miss the precise anniversary by a few hours—according to the time stamp on the original USENET post introducing it, Core 1 went up on rec.arts.anime and rec.arts.comics at five past midnight Worcester time* on Thursday, November 14, 1991—but we should at least be able to hit the same calendar day.
Thanks again for your encouragement and support, everyone. I'll be honest, right now the drawer doesn't look to have a lot of spoons in it, but we found one somewhere.

* I think. The headers also say it was 04:05 GMT, which would actually have been 11:05 the previous evening Eastern Standard Time, US Daylight Saving Time having ended on October 27 that year. I have no way of knowing now whether the DST setting or the GMT system time on the Encore was in error that night.
