   ...could he organize a rock band with the rest of the After-School Special Mission Force?

If so, who plays what?

Somehow, I don't think he could get them to form a classical group, and Mike Sounders doesn't seem like the sort to go for jazz.

Well, Mike plays a weird device that's... you know a double-neck guitar? Well, like that, except the lower neck is a keytar, called the Dazzling Double V - you can see it in this image:

And Lain is a pretty good keyboardist, although she's more the DJ/mixer type on the sound board. Penny's not quite up to instruments, and if Saya plays anything, she hasn't mentioned it to anyone yet. Makoto wasn't on the track for assassination, so she learned the violin (Lord Alberto insists that they learn to play it to be properly cultured, as the face of the next generation of galactic rule.)

   I should have expected that from a character named Mike Sounders. It looks like he has a microphone, too, so he can take vocals if he likes.

Still, it's hard to get much out of a trio. Maybe they'll have to pass on forming a band.

Also, I just remembered that Trans-Siberian Orchestra has a violinist with an amplified violin. So, anything's possible.
