>it now. I'm so annoyed it's not on Netflix. That may still happen sometime. I'm not a Netflix user and I don't really know how they populate their library, but the original US distributor for the K-On! anime went out of business, and I think the new one is still getting up to speed in terms of putting the show back into print (as it were).
Also, all six extant volumes of the English translations of the manga are still in print, and common enough that (as mentioned elsewhere) they had them all at the B-list chain bookstore in Bangor, Maine, so you should be able to track those down fairly easily. Just... not from Amazon, unless you have certain models of Kindle (the list of which does not include the one I have, naturally).
>And, oh, it is so good to hear Azalynn's voice again.
I know, right? That totally came out of the blue for me. I was fooling around with expanding what had been inside-the-studio notes for Phil (who hasn't seen K-On! either) into an FD of some kind, but it was all dry and technical, and then I thought, Wait. If Kate got ahold of their demo somehow... and the rewrite was off to the races.
Azalynn is generally not one of those characters who elbow their way into things like that, so when she does, I figure it's probably the best plan to run with it. :)
