Ok, so what is it about Central Europe that makes it a good place for the Neuroi to ravage? Surely the Russian Steppes offer more land mass:water ratio? And for population density, Cathy or India (no love for the Raj?) could be more enticing. Backstory, please! Even a twist of tragedy of the commons or an arms race theory would be helpful...
