-Hot- damn! That looks phenomenal! Major props to Moy for the art, but also to you Gryph, for the design. Can't wait to see her in (more) action!

Actually, he's not going to be at Acen this year. He and his brother are going to be at a con in Minnesota.

According to Phil Moy, he was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Since I have their contact info, I don't really have to wait until convention time to get a commission. However, that's when my finances are usually fairly stable.

You should be sharpening your fork. This is grown-up Anthy, she knows what she's doing. :)

Also, to answer another question asked above, believe it or not I only just thought of the "witch doctor" joke while I was writing the caption.

My first thought on seeing the picture was, "Wow! Is that Anthy?!" And then I read the caption:
>pâtissière;

I now have an urge to photoshop a chef's hat on the drawing.

> This is grown-up Anthy, she knows what she's doing. :)

I think it's likely she knew exactly what she was doing when she made that curry.

So,is Chip her 2nd in Command or still just hanging out as Corwin's official First Worshiper?

Very nice piece.

Different congregations. The Cephirean one is to do with the office of the Pillar. Chip claims to worship Corwin in his capacity as Norse god of mecha.

Thus sparking one of the only religious conflicts settled by the object of worship telling everyone to calm down and stop threatening each other with croissants...

Very nice! But I thought Anthy was a staff-fighter. Why does she have a sword instead of (I'm blanking on her staff's Name, Rosenjager or something)?

(And why did I register over three years ago and never participate? I actually tried registering again before logging in...)

Anthy is (as the caption indicates) many things...

This is a picture from the future! (Specifically, around-about the spring of 2412.) That's a sword she doesn't have "yet" (ca. spring 2410, where Symphony No. 5 has been a bit stalled for a while). The picture was simply too awesome for me to hold it back until it became "current".

>(And why did I register over three years ago and never participate?

That's a question I fear only you can answer. :)

One thing I wasn't consciously expecting when I specced this image was how steampunk she'd end up being. I should have realized that would be the case, because steampunks are basically pirates with Machine Deco sensibilities, and she's wearing a gearwheel amulet - but it never really occurred to me until I saw the finished product. Not that this is in any way a problem; I adore this piece, and a little more every time I look at it. I'm just saying.
