I'm not sure. The frame looks kind of grody in the photos, but unlike the lower body panels, it's only surface rust. Since we don't plan to run it in corrosive environments any more, what's already on there is probably fine, but we might knock the worst of the scale off and put on some paint-over-rust spray paint.
