So far so good. Over the last week or so I've gotten my hand pretty much entirely back in service, and the cane is mostly for show (and insurance) now. I've still got five or six weeks on the steroid taper, and there are some things going on now that are almost certainly medication side effects, but nothing unmanageable. I did some driving around town the other day, and tomorrow I'm going to try heading up to visit my grandparents. Things proceed apace...
