Well, credit where credit is due: Marvel has been getting a lot better about that. The trend has mostly been towards "tight, but practical." Kate Bishop no longer dresses solely in a midriff baring bustier. Natasha rarely has the zipper on her catsuit stuck in the halfway-down position during fights. Sif has had a number of modern re-designs that make her far more practical-looking. America Chavez, despite her bright colors, is dressed relentlessly practically. Even the X-Men have been moving away from their awful 90s aesthetics. Remember those battle thongs Psylocke was wearing for so long? Emma Frost still looks appalling, but you know... Emma. -Merc
