"2016.12.15: Priorities"
|
LAST EDITED ON Jan-08-17 AT 08:14 PM (EST) gryphon picturing the original K-On! crew trying to do a 4-player heist in GTAO; I have a feel for the roles they would play.Mugi would be the one taking forever to pick out which mask to wear, waiting for just the right getaway car to steal, modding it up at Los Santos Customs even though they aren't going to keep it after the mission, and so on. Ritsu would be the reckless one who uses sticky bombs way more than she really ought to, particularly on cop cars. Mio would be the one who actually pays attention to the briefing and the in-mission voiceover telling them what they're supposed to be doing, and gets really annoyed at the others for improvising everything. And Yui would be the one who goes, "OK so the bank is right--hey I wonder if you can kick over these trash cans? You CAN! HEY GUYS YOU CAN KICK OVER THE TRASH CANS" --G. -><- Benjamin D. >So then is Azunyan the one sitting at home holding on to the envelopes >marked "Bail Money" and "Alibi", or did she go into Special Operations >Mode and solo the heist while the cops are busy chasing the others >around? I'm not sure if you can play the scripted heists with more than four players (as opposed to races and the line, which can have up to something like 30, I think), so I only had the original lineup in mind. In a non-gameplay context, she would probably be the Professional One on the team, and Mio would be the offsite support (the role Lester plays in Story Mode). --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Jan-01-17 AT 03:26 PM (EST) Speaking of HÅkago Tea Time playing computer games, this happened in a discussion of same a while back. The underlying joke is that Ritsu is too cheap to buy current A-list games, so her library is a mix of good games that are old, recent games that are crap, and old crap she bought when it was new crap.
bzarcher I also humbly submit "Job simulator 2050" as a candidate. "...it's a game. About working in a boring office?" "Yep. But we have robots telling us what to do." "Even for the crap games you usually find, Ritsu, this is a new low." "Thanks - hey!" gryphon snrk That would be an import from New Japan. Office Lady 2395 Tricky minigames like "make the right Keurig for the boss" and "don't forget to set the copier to collate and staple" constant time pressure weirdly euphemized workplace sexual harassment, so the game doesn't get an Adult rating, but it's obvious the boss isn't really talking about TPS reports "Congratulations, Ritsu, you've somehow managed to find a game that is dead boring and creepy as hell at the same time." "... Yeah, I gotta admit, even I don't wanna play this any more."
