A good percentage of SSDI applications get rejected initially. I had the same thing happened to me when I applied 13 years ago. I got a Disability law firm to represent me on appeal and the appeals judge approved it. I used Allsup, but you can go with whomever you wish. There are lots of companies out there who do this sort of thing.
