You know, I support this purely for the VFX potential. At this point we've seen the Battle Damage^TM Iron Man suits so many times, with their cracked and pitted armor and whatnot. I'd like to see it get all melted, just to change things up. It could be pretty cool seeing Tony stumble back into the lab with half of his armor looking all Salvador Dali.

Also, apropos of nothing; in thinking about this I've decided I'd really like to see Iron Man fight a factory. I don't mean a fight in a factory, that's been done, I mean, like actually fighting the factory. I'm not sure why. I just think it would be cool.
