   Is anyone else mildly annoyed that in this game's entire vast and complicated crafting system, you can't actually make anything from scratch? Things like pipe guns and metal armor are visibly improvised anyway, and yet your character, who can with the appropriate perks modify military power armor and experimental energy weapons to do wild and crazy sci-fi things, cannot make either one. You have to wait until you kill a raider who happens to have, say, a metal armor chest piece, and then start doing modifications to it that are patently more complex than its original creation was. Grmf. Doesn't make sense.

(This is the part where someone points out to me that you can do that, I'm just too clueless to have noticed the menu option for it.)

Also, no ammunition reloading. I'm guessing that's gone away again because it was in New Vegas, not Fallout 3, so wasn't in Bethesda's own toolbox anyway, but, sigh. It was also an absurdly complicated crafting system in its own right, but at least it got results. :)
