"Mommy..."

   I'm afraid now.

So, 'slike this: I'm just sittin' there, readin' Rose that Blooms in the City of Light, an' I get to the bit where it's Kate's birthday and it's after the concert and she and Juri are goin' t' bed (Not together, more's the pity), and WinAmp comes toolin' along in the background like it always does, and it cues up number 431 - Evan and Jaron - Crazy For This Girl.

Dude, I'm shiverin'.

Blessed be.

Ironically, I first encountered that song while grocery shopping in the middle of the night at the all-night Star Market in Cambridge's Porter Square - back in May, when the basic structure of the early Symphony was just starting to come together in my mind. I strongly suspect it did catalyze one piece of the Symphony which has come out recently -

- but it wasn't that one. :)
