"Re: HoloDECs"

Was aej's HoloDEC the only one or are there others? Or is it, like CLULESS, a one of a kind invention? After reading "The Wizard of WACCC" and seeing the events that allowed q access to creating CLULESS, I couldn't help wondering. Thanks.

Also, and this is just a goofy inquiry to suit my own sadistic writing/fanboy tendencies, just how canon is "The Wizard of WACCC" in the UFiverse? I can't help wondering how dot was up to during tht time. ;)

Check the initial appearance of the HoloDECStation. Everyone thought iw as just a story... so I'd say that it's not canon at all.

Just weird.

As far as anybody knows, there was only the one.

Only inasmuch as UF's ReRob had, like our own, written it with Rob Crocker the year before.

Wow. Not only did he create it, he anticipated the concept. I suppose that's what happens when a person has infinite power.

*THINK* *THINK* I've got it! The stormtroopers would miss, because they couldn't hit the board of a planet if their lifes dependet on it. But, the redshirts would die anyway, because they're redshirts and that is way the Universe works.

--------
Valkyries I saw, coming from afar,
Eagerly riding to aid the Goths;
Skuld bore one shield, Skogul another
Gunn, Hild, Gondul and Spearskogul:
Duly have I named the daughters of Odhinn,
The valiant riders the Valkyries.

Obviously, the redshirts die of heart attacks from having the Stormtroopers' bullets come so close and NOT hit them.

You're both mistaken, though Ard got close. The stormtroopers' fire would hit the rocky outcropping above the redshirts, bringing it crashing down upon them, as being Crushed By the Set is as honored a tradition in Star Trek as redshirt death itself.

Perhaps, in some drunken moment the next year, he inadvertently transferred the notion directly to ReRob's brain. :)

Which startles the ReRob, causing it to get hiccups and bounce-womble across the room, which then startles the Megazone, who drops the chainsaw on the couch...

And then Vaughn comes in to stop the sketch because it's getting too silly.
