Very nice. Although by the look on her face, I'd suspect she has a sappy romance novel hidden in there somewhere. (Pssst. "une".) -- With great power come great perks. |

>See, here's the thing ... When some people think of New England >regional literature, they think of Hawthorne, Melville, and Emily >Dickinson. Others think of Poe, Lovecraft, and Stephen King. Poe's from Baltimore. Hardly "New England"--in fact, Maryland was considered a Southern state at least until the Civil War. As for me, I'm not big on "classical literature." If somebody asked me to name authors from New England, my first answer would be Gryphon. And then maybe Jessica Fletcher. :) --- Rob Madson, a.k.a. >-wow-. Beautiful colouring job! Is it not? Phil's been doing a lot of nifty things with lighting effects lately. (Potentially entertaining aside: I did not initially intend to entitle the piece "Voici une sorcière" - I just wanted to make the post containing it say "here is a witch" and for some random reason decided to say it in French - but Phil ran with it, and what the hell, it works. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
