"Looking for a couple bits I remember..."
|
... and I can't seem to find them, which is making me feel really stupid. I distinctly recall a piece in which Utena and Corwin are alone in a shuttle (not Daggerdisc or the One-Hit Wonder, but a shuttle) which then suffers a $space_accident, and Corwin's hands get burned, and $stuff happens. I really liked that piece and I'd like to reread it. I also distinctly recall a piece -- and for some reason I thought this was a Forum special, but searching the forum is not producing any results for me -- where Corwin teams up with Tali-the-Younger to save a quarian ship. It felt very bank-heisty, almost. Again, would very much like to reread it. Can anyone assist? --sofaspud -- |

I really liked that piece and I'd like to reread it. Symphony No. 2: Interlude in Zero Gravity in G Minor. (It's a runabout, not a shuttle, but close enough for jazz.) >I also distinctly recall a piece -- and for some reason I thought this >was a Forum special, but searching the forum is not producing any >results for me -- where Corwin teams up with Tali-the-Younger to save >a quarian ship. Along with Zero Gravity's sequel, Interlude in the Golden City in A, they make up the "Corwin prepares Utena to take the Space Captain Exam" story arc in the summer of 2405, during S2's First Movement. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Muchly appreciated, sir! Having re-read those, I found myself re-reading all of Symphony 2. The coda at the end made me chuckle. Corwin: "Well, there was this one time when I was five..." And we're now seeing some of those stories! I'm very pleased by this. --sofaspud -- |
