This is just wrong. Eve would have a fit. She's much better singer. I would like to hear her version of Voices.

And I'm sure that the WDF would have problems with the Wizard of Oz setup that makes Sharon Apple happen.

I really like Sharon Apple - I have both Mac+ soundtracks as well as The Cream P*U*F and For Fans Only discs.

Well, if it were consentual - fine. But if Myung had enough of it, then that's that.

Of course, in the UF universe we could make Sharon Apple work as an AI and *not* be psychotic.

Hmm. I'd like to hear Eves version of "Voices" too.

But that's largely because I'm using "Voices" for something important in UF.

As for the rest, well, I wasn't all that fond of Macross Plus, so though I like some of the music (hey, Yohko Kanno is Yohko Kanno, even if she's scoring a lameish retelling of Frankenstein with transformable mecha and an angry green-haired jock), I wouldn't be all that keen on dragging the characters in. There are so many characters I'm fonder of who haven't had a chance to find their place yet...

That's an interesting way of putting it, but I find a slightly different message in Mac+. It seems to not so much be about man trying to emulate god and/or woman and more about how far we should let ourselves be driven by technology.

Hmmm... that could be very good, very bad, or very stupid. Mind you, there'd be no way in hell that Sharon could take control of the SDF-17. Eve would kick her butt. But now I've got this strange mental image combining UF and Macross Plus. Gryph in his Valk, ReRob or Android in the back seat, taking on the Wayward Son alone..... Nah.
