If you're stuck for ideas about what to get me, this is quite reasonably priced, and relatively nearby! :)

> "99 Shopping Days Until Christmas"

Time is weird. There's as much time between the end of the year and now as there is between now and the beginning of last May... but the start of last May sure seems closer, and on January 1st, 2017 the start of the previous September will seem like a hazy memory.

I mean. I know time is an illusion, like death, and pants. But still.

The funny part is that in 1957, American cars were still not quite as big as they were going to get; that curve still had a couple-three more years to run (more if you follow Chryslers). Compared to the early-'60s Continentals, the '57 Premiere almost seems compact. :)

(But then, the Continental of the day was assumed to be chauffeur-driven, whereas the Premiere is a coupé—clearly meant to be driven by the owner.)
