"NXE Apotheosis Now: Original Soundtrack"

LAST EDITED ON 05-16-03 AT 06:44 PM (EDT)

Note that this is not the movie's Meta-Original Soundtrack And Image Collection, as per the original series versions. That won't have all the music that was actually in the story on it, and will probably have some tracks that weren't, and it won't be compiled for a while yet.

This is just a list of the tracks that actually are in the movie.

01. Land of Confusion (live)
Genesis: Live - The Way We Walk, Vol. 1: The Shorts
(NOTE: appears twice)
02. Paint It, Black
The Rolling Stones: Hot Rocks 1964-1971
03. Bad to the Bone
George Thorogood & the Destroyers: Bad to the Bone
04. Guardian Angel
Juno Reactor: Beyond the Infinite
05. Weep For
Toshihiko Sabashi: Big-O! Original Sound Score
06. The Beginning
Seal: Seal (1991)
07. Sanctus
J.S. Bach: Mass in B Minor, BWV 232
08. More Human Than Human (Meet Bambi in the King's Harem Mix)
White Zombie: Supersexy Swingin' Sounds
09. Sweating Bullets
Megadeth: Countdown to Extinction
10. Daniel and Shauri
David Arnold: Stargate Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
11. All Systems Go: The Launch
James Horner: Apollo 13 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
12. The Geometry of Shadows, Part 1
Christopher Franke: Babylon 5
13. The Droid Invasion
John Williams: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Origional Motion Picture Soundtrack
14. Spokey Dokey
Seat Belts: Cowboy Bebop
15. Smash
The Offspring: Smash
16. The X-Jet
Michael Kamen: X-Men Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
17. Engineering A: Coolant Tubes
Looking Glass Studios: System Shock 2
18. Top Gun Anthem
Harold Faltermeyer & Steve Stevens: Top Gun Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
19. Friends
Joe Satriani: The Extremist
20. Entr'acte
Jerry Goldsmith: Patton Original Motion Picture Sountrack
21. Answers
Steve Vai: Passion & Warfare
22. Blue Moon
The Marcels: Billboard Top Rock 'n Roll Hits: 1961

In addition, the Allman Brothers Band's "Whipping Post", the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction", the Hymn of the Soviet Union, and the traditional British military march "British Grenadiers" appeared as incidental music. You can find "Whipping Post" on the ABB's 20th Century Masters compilation, "Satisfaction" on Hot Rocks 1964-1971, and an instrumental version of "British Grenadiers" on Sony Classical's Marches: Greatest Hits compilation. As for the Hymn of the Soviet Union, um... good luck. I found my version online someplace. The music is now the national anthem of the Russian Federation, but the lyrics are different. Try searching on "red army chorus" and "soviet union".

It appears to be on disc 2 of this set if you care to get a legit copy.

I tried a search of the new Apple online Music Store for instant gratification and all I got back was a version of 'Tipperary' by the Soviet Army Chorus & Band which is...odd.
