"grumbling at Past Me"

   Dear mid-1990s me:

Not only did you screw up everything you attempted in real life during much of the latter half of this decade, you didn't put proper time stamps in fricking ANY of NXE, either, and it's really throwing me off now, you dick.

To be fair, mid-1990s you didn't have the same awareness of how valuable an accurate timeline is, and Past You had absolutely no idea you'd be inspired to write something over a decade after Apotheosis Now wrapped everything up.

This is the same version of you that wrote Twilight, and I remember you having words with Past You regarding the timeline on that. While it isn't up to your current standards, it's arguably up to spec for your writing at the time.

At least you have evidence that you've gotten better.

edit to add:
There are a few date stamps in NXE, so I assume you're exaggerating for effect. However, they're both rare and more coincidental than deliberate in the first part (1:3 and 1:9) and not in particularly good supply anywhere else (2:1, 3:1, 3:2, 3:3, and 3:8.)
