Yeah, so, I knew that Swedes immigrated to the US, and all of that stuff. Not something that's easy to miss, in Sweden. But I had no idea that there was a Stockholm in Maine? As well as several Provinces/Counties (Jemtland is a particularly interesting one, using the "proper" spelling). Not really any important thing, just one of those "Huh, that's neat!" reactions. ...! (One of my aunts lives there now, in fact.) There's also a town called New Sweden nearby. Evidently there was a batch of Swedish colonists who settled in potato country at some point and didn't spread out much after they arrived... --G. -><- Benjamin D.
