The Protomen are an active musical group whose schtick is doing rock opera...

...based off of Megaman. They've got two 'Acts' out, so far, and, as noted above, the trajectory of the mood is fairly bleak, but the sound...

   Seen them live twice - once at DragonCon and once in Portland, OR. Missed them just before PAX Prime this year, but good live show.
