"Ever wonder what we talk about?"

When we're not designing story shit and stuff, I mean?

Often, it goes something like this:

* wedge watches the Secret Allied Aircraft of WWII Modern Marvels
<wedge> there ought to be a stupidly large starship named the Habbakuk at some point
<wedge> bonus points if it's made out of a comet
<Z-Gryphon> I noticed that "Wacky Shit We Did With Weapons" is on again shortly, too.
<wedge> also, I bet the universe where the L-133 actually became the first US jet fighter is infinitely cooler than this one.
<Z-Gryphon> heh
<wedge> they probably have rocketpacks and shit.
<Z-Gryphon> and operational B-70 squadrons
<wedge> seriously
<Z-Gryphon> (OK, so there's also an even chance that in that world, they had a total nuclear exchange in about 1967 and everybody's dead now. but.)
<wedge> everyone on the moon base survived, though.
<Z-Gryphon> great. that did humanity a lot of good.
<Z-Gryphon> astronauts in 1967 = all men
<Z-Gryphon> :)
<wedge> snort
<wedge> we are talking about a cooler alternate reality here.
<wedge> besides, what better motivation to forge out to the stars in search of women?
<wedge> :)
<Z-Gryphon> true.
<Z-Gryphon> in a world like that there's probably a whole civilization of 'em on Venus.
<Z-Gryphon> who are inexplicably good to go with Earth astronauts despite never having seen men before.
<wedge> stupid alternate future.
<wedge> :)
<Z-Gryphon> yeah, seriously.
<Z-Gryphon> where the hell are my rocket pack and inexplicably-morally-acceptable Venusian slave girl?
