"Alternate Scene: DS02 Past Is Prologue"
|
Dreamed this last night: an alternate version of the flashback in which Korra confronts the White Lotus masters who have been screwing with her private life. INT. DAY. The Air Temple dining hall. KORRA has invited the WHITE LOTUS COUNCIL to dinner. While they eat, she roams the room in a cheerfully expansive manner, regaling them with war stories of the elder days. KORRA Life goes on. A woman becomes pre-eminent; she's expected to have enthusiasms. Enthusiasms... what are mine? What draws my admiration? What brings me joy? She produces a baseball bat. KORRA Baseball! A man stands alone at the plate. She pauses behind JINORA's seat. KORRA This is the time for what? Individual achievement. There, he stands alone. JINORA nods, clearly unsure where she is going with this. KORRA moves on down the side of the table, still talking cheerfully. KORRA But in the field, what is he? She stops behind TENNEQ's seat, her cheery expression suddenly hardening into an angry glower. KORRA (through her teeth) Part of a team. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Who knew that the Avatar did such a good impression of DiNiro? :) Ebony the Black Dragon "Life is like an anole. Sometimes it's green. Sometimes it's brown. But it's always a small Caribbean lizard." |

LAST EDITED ON Dec-19-14 AT 12:33 PM (EST) >Who knew that the Avatar did such a good impression of DiNiro? :) She is a woman of many talents, which is presumably why the brutal, vengeful gods of her native reality hate her. Er, sorry, I still have the Wikipedia page for Nemesis on my mind from the other post. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
