Not only that, Holm starred in Lord Of The Rings twice. As well as the film trilogy, back in the early 80s he played Frodo in a BBC Radio 26-part dramatisation of (almost) the entire trilogy — as usual, the section with Bombadil was left out. I really enjoyed this version; it had many songs from the books, and the music was memorable. The title theme in particular is an immortal earworm I can still remember clearly to this day. And would you believe, I found it. The first seven doubled-up episodes, anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RVCYMe-HqY Hold on, here's another one with better sound. The same channel also has the music of the series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFaAxLzvHf0 Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate; And though I oft have passed them by, A day will come at last when I Shall take the hidden paths that run West of the Moon, East of the Sun.
