"Thanksgiving, Bariatric Style"

I... don't think Mother has quite apprehended the portioning limitations I'm now operating under.

It sure is good, though.

Oh well! I have a bag of King's Hawaiian rolls, which means I have tiny ham sandwiches for, like, the rest of the year. :)

We cheated a little this year--unable to find our usual spiral-cut ham in the local area, we went with cross-sectioned ham steaks piled up in a stack with glaze and baked. It worked really well!

Tip: Take a small piece of something like this, put it in a buttered Hawaiian roll, and microwave the whole thing for like 20 seconds. It's a great little sandwich. With the butter, it doesn't even need cheese.

Geez, that looks like a pretty big serving of ham even without that part. Assuming that plate is the size I think it is anyway.

Also, hey, someone else who has ham for Thanksgiving! My dad pretty much refuses to eat bird, so ham has been our go-to for holiday meals for as long as I can remember.
