"Is there a way to link to an https URL?"
 
   The weird DCBoard link syntax makes you leave off the http: prefix on URLs you're linking to.

As more of the web switches to https, this seems to leave one up the creek for links to secure websites, other than linking to the insecure version and hoping it redirects. Is there any way to link to an https: URL in DCBoard, or is this another lacuna of this fairly ancient software?

Yeah, I think you're pretty much beached if the admin on the other end hasn't set that up.
