>Most elegant ways I've seen of dealing with the unevenness of game UIs >is to diagonal frame offset the game and leave a dedicated box in the >lower corner to put your facecam or vtuber avatar, then use the frame >to show chat, your tags, a banner, etc. Yeah, overlays are fairly common, but they're also pretty controversial. A lot of people in chat get really annoyed about giving up that much screen real estate that could have game in it, and the process occasionally does really weird stuff to stream bitrates and the like. --G. -><- Benjamin D. I think the only reasonable thing to do is make the screen smaller and have a sizable letterbox on the side and underneath. But lord does that make the game look worse a lot of the time. And I'm worried about compressing the UI, especially for more complicated/information dense games, BUT, that said, they have streamer settings for nudity and licensed music, so they really should add 'space for facecam' to them. |
