Indeed! This was announced during their 3D showcase collab last night--for which, amusingly, management had to use the deprecated name as the official hashtag to avoid giving the game away beforehand. :) Curiously, the announcement notes that Project Hope, the "unit" that only ever contained IRyS, is ending with the founding of Promise, but it doesn't say anything about Council. I assume that is also no more, apart from retrospectively applying to the former members.

I assume Holo HQ have had this in the works for a while, but they had to wait until all the members involved had their 3D debuts (which mostly took place over the course of September) before they could pull the trigger on it.

Oh yeah, also: a lot of people in chat assumed that the big star at the top of the Promise logo is a reference to Council's missing member, Sana, who graduated last year for health reasons (and whose lore in the Council kayfabe was that she was some sort of Galactus-style Colossal Cosmic Being). I find this plausible, particularly since there were a couple of other references to Sana buried in the showcase itself--most notably the stars in the background of the stage they did the "games" portion on, which were colored in the distinctive colors of her hair ornaments. If true, nice of the company to acknowledge her. I gather this is relatively unusual for graduates of idol-style organizations, who usually seem to get thrown into the Memory Hole. So that's nice.
