"Umamusume VIII: A New Era"
| |
It's not about the game but last night I caught the English theatrical showing for Beginning of a New Era. Probably like 85-90% full, only the front row and a half were empty. Handful of cosplayers. 10/10 peak. Bucket-kun's the best MC of all the Uma anime I've seen so far by a mile (we'll see if Ogurin and co dethrone her, CinGray's the last thing I haven't watched and I'm technically only halfway through main Uma s3). Tachyon's a great weirdo foil. Cafe's still a cute cryptid. Dantsu's there. Fuji's Kisekis deserve an honorable mention. Now please give me movie timeline Scarlet+Vodka+Machan, I beg you. And in honor of the English theatrical release, pakatube put out one of the old videos but subtitled -- Game wise I"m suffering through Aquarius prep. Got maybe 1.5 characters done, adjusting my deck trying to find the right balance for getting a new Falco done in time (I have a couple but the good ones of the batch missed one crucial thing and so they're bad). |

So if you've not had a chance to log in since yesterday, there's three things going on that you might want to jump on: 1. You can receive chocolates from any of the girls you've pulled so far, which is a month late but we won't quibble too loudly. 2. Year One Anniversary event is here, so there's daily carrot drops, a special category in the store with extra gacha tickets and clocks, and limited time special goals for extra coins and friend points. 3. For the next 40+ days, loot drops are doubled (again) and practice point costs are halved to start careers, so if you're like me and forever farming then now's a good time to get back out there. -------------------------- CdrMike, Overwatch Reject "You know, the world could always use more heroes." - Tracer, Overwatch |
