#0, Big O Petition, or I Left My Brain Somewhere On The Forums.

Someone had mentioned some kind of petition somewhere about trying to convince Bandai into making more Big O, despite the fact it tanked in Japan, because it's done rather well in the US market.I think. I'm not sure. It's been the kind of week where I sometimes forget my own name, leaving me to pick up the phone at work to say, "Internet Registration.... um... yes?" Instead of my usual "Internet Registration. Geoff." Did I hallucinate this one or does it exist? -- Geoff Depew - Mephron "Big O! Showtime!"

I imagine one - probably more than one -exist. I mean, people in anime fandom will create online petitions for anything, including an attempted boycott of Pioneer (yes, all of Pioneer) for questionable box copy on the Fushigi Yugi VHS release. I don't know any details offhand, because I haven't really been looking for them, but I suspect you can find out at animejump.com's Big O forum. (I've been an off-and-on contributor to those, but I'm more "off" at the moment because I hate UBB.) --G. -><- Benjamin D. But Joe-kun is a wacko anyway... As for a Big O petition - seems like a waste of time and effort. If the DVDs sell well, they may consider making more. If they don't, no petition is going to change their mind. It is all about money. -MegaZone, megazone@megazone.org Personal Homepage http://www.megazone.org/ Eyrie Productions FanFic http://www.eyrie-productions.com/
