I doubt this will have a huge impact on the industry, but with the American FTC banning non-compete clauses in contracts, it opens things up for American vtubers who join companies to not need to graduate/go on indefinite hiatus. I doubt that any will seriously try to keep both active, but it opens the door to some side stuff if they just want to, for example, play a game the company doesn't have permissions for.

Admittedly, this rule doesn't stop NDA's, but I'm hopeful it will help employees be able to leave bad jobs without the fear of being unable to stay in their industry. I'm not normally big on more government regulation, but I think this was a step in the right direction.
