"Edits not changing post author"
 
   Hey, it's almost certainly a Known Issue and one that can't be fixed with the ancient forum code, but just in case, editing a post updates the date and time of the last post, but not the post's author.

It's not a problem but it is mildly vexing.

Yeah, it's always done that. It shows the last user who made a post, not the last one who edited one.

   Yeah, I knew that, just kinda wish it....didn't. Update both or neither, kinda thing. But it's almost certainly not fixable, if it hasn't been done at this point. At least not without a forum overhaul, and that sure as hell ain't worth doing. It's not even possible to patch Windows without breaking the system in half, forget doing it with a 20 year old, probably dead for a decade forum plugin.
