Well, right on the front page there's the line, and I quote... USENET's largest producer of quality fanfiction since 1991! Perhaps that's what got him cranky. Or maybe the story of the origins of Eyrie Productions, which is found off of the UF section. Or maybe he's just a nitwit. |

>Well, right on the front page there's the line, and I quote... > >USENET's largest producer of quality fanfiction since 1991! > >Perhaps that's what got him cranky. I suggested that to Gryph. His response was that the reference to 'largest' was that, when that was put in place, Eyrie PRoductions included himself, MegaZone, and Derek Bacon. It wasn't largest as in output, it was largest as in collective size of writing team. -- Geoff Depew - Darth Mephron Haberdasher to Androids, Dark Lord of Sith Tech Support. When I did the layout of version 2.0 of the website, several years ago, I considered putting an asterisk there and, in small print at the bottom, "Rated by net tonnage." Perhaps I should have. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

Perhaps I should have. Interesting bit of trivia... but I'm quite willing to believe that EPU is also the most prolific source of quality fanfiction on the net as well... -Z Rabid Crack Turtle 3.14159 --- Welcome to Hell.
