   Well! I was going to release an audio version of Clarion Call...

... but that was before I test-listened the first part preparatory to MP3 conversion and discovered that something went wrong with the settings on the original WAVs such that all nine pieces are recorded at such a low sampling rate they sound like the X-wing comm traffic during the Battle of Yavin.

So, uh. Not sure how I managed to do that, but the whole thing's useless and will have to be recorded again, and... not now. Just... no.

Maybe this weekend, if the site changeover goes well on Friday.

There. I have finally gotten around to recording it again. I had it homed on my server here at the house, but, unlike previous recordings, that caused my pipe to get clobbered, so I'm going to have to re-home it to the main EPU server. That'll take a while. Sorry if I just killed your download. I'll post again when I've finished moving it.

   Just a quick note: File names seem to have been truncated somewhere. They are all like so:

01 Second Movement_ Clarion Call, Pa.mp3
02 Second Movement_ Clarion Call, Pa.mp3
etc.

iTunes does that; apparently that's the maximum filename length it cares to deal with when it's auto-organizing its library. The ID3 tags should be intact.

   Note to self: Don't keep those locally any more. Not if you intend to use the Internet, anyway.

Odd; previous audio experiments didn't clobber the pipe to anything like this degree.
