   Since everyone else is doing introductions, and Ardaniel has, I might as well deposit my $0.02 worth.
I'm TechMav, aka The Guy in the Funny Black Hat. I currently reside in Indiana, and have been reading Eyrie for about (counts on fingers) 5 years now, I think.
I'm a Unix admin by trade, and a live-in mechanic for my roommate, how has convinced me to build a Corvette, mainly by letting me drive his Vette. I'm a hardware geek at heart, loving to play with and build my own hardware. I got Ardaniel addicted to Eyrie, and in return, she dragged me into her universe.

And no, the topic isn't a typo, that's my usual greeting on irc.
