"Long time lurker..."

...first time poster. It took me about 3 months or so to work up the courage to actually register and post. I'm somewhat timid (though according to my posts on the Gundam Project mb I seem to be anything but), and completely inept at anything computer related, so please bear with me if I do anything really, really stupid (online for 7 years and I still bollux things every now and then).

Little about myself, name's Josh and I'm a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, PA (note to Kris Overstreet if he perchance reads this: Nal Hutta? C'mon, I know the Pirates suck now, but there's no way any self-respecting 'Burgher would ever let the Hutts get their hands on the legacy of Mazeroski, Clemente, and Stargell) apart from a four-year stint I did at Penn State university. I hold a BS in Geography, and am currently working on a gard degre in public administration (focus on regional planning, nonprofits, and environmental management) at the University of Pittsburgh. I also work as an office monkey for a nonprofit conservation agency.

My introduction to the Eyrie crew comes through Chris Meadows' old Robotech: The Misfold. I was also a member of the Robotech ML in Zoner's waning days on the list (he was, IMO, one of the most colorful people on it. Shame factionalism tore it apart). It wasn't until about two years ago that I really got into Eyrie, when I pulled NXE down from the RAAC archive on a whim, started it and said "Oh, I've heard of these guys before," and proceeded to get sucked in. Right now, I'm really, really enjoying Symphony of the Sword.

Okay, I'm going back to lurking, but just thought I'd say "hi."

Josh
