"Unholy flashback"
|
LAST EDITED ON Dec-31-01 AT 02:17 PM (EST) From Another Christmas Rose: Utena kept grinning, vaulted the bed like it was the hood of a car, and put her arm around Kate's shoulders. Can anyone say, movie Akio? (Thankfully, this Utena, being from the TV series, cannot possibly be emulating that particular behavior.) |

No, but somewhere, she probably feels faintly uneasy now, and doesn't know why. :) (Oddly enough, I was thinking one level back, probably on the same level the movie writers were - that kind of maneuver is a staple in old cop shows. Two other places it turns up in modern pop culture are that one milk ad with the old men picking a fight in a cafe, and the Beastie Boys "Sabotage" video, which is a parody of that kind of cop show. Me, I just threw it in 'cause I thought it looked cool. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

But, as I've said before, my logic processes border on the truly schizoid and I free-associate randomly. Ebony the Black Dragon aka Draco Draconis Ebenium known to the Duke Boys as Aaron F.
