The name's Will, occassionally better known as MuadDib or WalksInSolitude, or some shortened version thereof. Been lurking around the forums for a bit now, finally decided to go ahead and create the account and whatnot, maybe post on ocassion.

I've been following the various Eyrie projects since around the fall of '98, was introduced to the place by an old friend of mine (who I haven't spoken to in a while unfortunately) and been pretty much hooked ever since. Hasn't inspired me to any fits on fanfic of my own as of yet (thankfully by some accounts), but I've been turning over the idea of a graphical one for some months now that may come to fruition at some point next semester.

I'm a freshman at Virgnia Tech, down here in good ol' crappy Blacksburg, VA, almost ended up at WPI by random chance (had a friend that was there), but went here instead after a decidedly lackluster effort senior year. After I was introduced to UF that fall, wished I had done a little bit better and gone there instead, having recieved a bit more inspiration to attend at that point. (Yes, I was a frosh in 98 and I'm still one in 2001. I'm on the 10 year plan, really.) Actually made the trip up there this summer to visit some other friends of mine who attend and scared them with how well I knew how to get around just from reading the stories. Not quite as big as I was thinking, but going to a school with 27,000 students tends to expand one's idea of a campus quite a bit.

I'm into anime(duh), computing(duhx2), pre-christian European mythology, Eastern philosophy and culture, Canon a text-based strategy game, strange concepts of the future, electronic music (esp. drum n bass, goa and ambient), chess and tattooing (I have a modified version of EVA-02 on my right calf among other things, for a multitude of reasons, one of which is the interpretation of the eva's in NXE oddly {I'm mildly obsessed with the concept of angels}) There's other stuff as well (I'd be frightfully boring if that's all I cared about) but that should do for now as far as my interests.

Though I do have some questions for Gryph about the church, if he ever has the time to answer my stupid questions off the boards at some point. Whole thing seems.. very intriguing, if you will.
