"Gaston's Terrible Legacy"
|
Back in the '80s, when Glock pistols first started making major market inroads in the US, there was a lot of stupidly sensationalized press coverage in which people speculated that the polymer-framed pistol would usher in a new age of Firearms Invisible to Airport Security. It was all nonsense, of course, but there has been a dreadful unanticipated consequence of the advancement of that technology, all the same. Rather than invisible pistols on airliners, what the Glock revolution inevitably, inexorably led us to was this. (Lest you think there's a gender bias at work here, it's also available in blue, for boys who have no sense of taste. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
