   Favorite green army man, go.

Mine was Man Preparing to Throw Hand Grenade, because in the set I inherited from an uncle as a child, mine had a broken rifle, so he was clearly having himself a bit of a dramatic last stand.

Mine were in a variety of colours: Classic Dark Green, Desert Sand, Hopefully Not Confederates Grey, Baby Diarrhoea Olive, all the greats. However, my favourite was the bazooka guy. I had a model tank with a spring-loaded gun that fired toothpicks, and he was crouched down low enough to hide behind the turret. Tactically sound? Possibly not. Have I ever once let that stop me? I'm the woman entering melee tanks into Gryph's sensha-do format, take a wild guess. =]

Crawling Guy is my all time favorite. As mentioned elsewhere (Games, I think) I have A Thing about sniping and he always seemed the sniper-y-est.

I had two sets of army men, Traditional Green and It's Not A Blatant Knock Off We Promise Pink. The latter were *significantly* worse quality, which is saying a lot since the Traditional guys were... not great themselves.

I never had any green army men. I had a large collection of small stuffed animals instead, and me and my little sister would send them on Expeditions to Discover the North Pole, like in the Winnie-the-Pooh novels.

I'd say the standing guy looking down the sights. Always appreciated someone actually performing the function of fighting in things like green army men and micro machines etc.

My favorite was the guy with the binoculars. He became the one who called down artillery strikes.

Mine was "the one with the bent rifle I don't remember ever buying or playing with, but found in the Big Box O' LEGO® Bricks™ anyway". :)

Guy holding bayonet rifle above his head. I think he's wading in water? Or gonna stab somebody? It was always weirdly funny to me

I liked the radio guy, and the machine gunner. But really I liked all of them, until I set them on fire. I wasn't a normal child...

"What's going on here?! Why is that soldier strapped to an explosive device?"

"Oh, no. It's a Combat Carl."

I have a fond memory of army men. I was about six and my brother around 9. We had a babysitter named Tim. After the 4th of July there were some left over firecrackers, normal small ones with a fuse, and we had a "war". Many army men lost their lives to artillery fire that day out in the woods near my house. Trench warfare is hell gentlemen.
